ACNC Registered Charity Tick Bravo is a recognised  Registered Charity and a Public  Benevolent Institution (PBI) and happily accepts donations.

The beneficiaries are people with disabilities and their families who are experiencing various situations in which an unplanned need has arisen.  Beneficiaries may also be Organisations who provide a service to the Community for people in situations beyond their control.

Privacy Policy

Bravo strives to ensure that individuals, families, staff members, support workers and host contractors, unpaid workers and volunteers, suppliers, job applicants and other contacts, are aware of their rights and responsibilities concerning privacy and confidentiality.

Confidentiality is keeping private information safe from unsanctioned intrusion or disclosure, through implication, verbally, electronically or in writing.

Collection of Personal Information

Bravo will not collect personal information without consent.

Personal information is information gathered, received, and stored, both electronically and hardcopy, that is of a private and confidential nature that is not public knowledge. This information is generally comprised of name, address and/or mailing address, date of birth, cultural ethnicity, telephone contacts and email addresses newsletter preferences and employment details and any feedback that you provide to us about our services, our website, or other matters.

Use and disclosure

Bravo will not use or disclose personal information without consent, unless required to do so by law and will not sell trade or exchange your information without your permission. However, confidentiality will be waived if there may be a threat to an individual's safety or if a serious crime or threat against another person is disclosed.

Use of information is strictly limited to the primary purpose for which it was originally collected. All individuals / families are provided with written information regarding the purpose, use and management of both personal and sensitive information to be collected.

Information can only be used or disclosed for a secondary purpose in the following circumstances:

 - where required for financial transactions (eg. to verify contracts or payments);

- in specific limited circumstances, non-personal information may be disclosed to third party services (such as IT service providers) to assist in administering operations,

 - where the information to be passed on was collected for the purpose of passing that information on, and

 - To reduce the risk to an individual’s or other’s life

 - In an unidentifiable format, for research

 - When required by law, or when reasonably necessary for the investigation of a criminal offence

- When an individual is incapacitated, the Manager / Facilitators may disclose the information to someone who is responsible for the individual.

To help protect the privacy of data and personal information Bravo collects and holds, physical, technical and administrative safeguards are maintained. Bravo updates and tests our security technology on an ongoing basis.

Bravo trains employees about the importance of confidentiality and maintaining the privacy and security of your information. Access to your Personal Information is restricted to authorised Bravo employees who need it to provide benefits or services to you.

Bravo will take all reasonable steps to protect against the loss, misuse and/or alteration of information under its control including through appropriate physical and electronic security strategies.
